The Virtusica application is an electronic Christian guide to the world of virtues, their acquisition and construction. It’s not a cheap game or a summary of boring theory, far removed from daily life. It is a practical guide - a key which, in the form of the development of imagination and determination, gradually unlocks the individual chambers of Christian virtues. Get closer to God in 30 days!
Seven 30-day programs: Goodwill, Diligence, Chastity, Generosity, Temperance, Patience, Humility.
Seven artifacts: Faith, Hope, Love, Justice, Mildness, Bravery, Wisdom.
Try it freeChristians are often accused (mostly wrongly, but sometimes justifiably) of talking too often about sin, of reprimanding a person for his transgressions, of seeing his whole life only as a never-ending struggle against vices. I am very pleased that young Christians, the creators of the Virtusica application, offer to all those who want to engage in the adventure of building a better world through the process of self-improvement and cultivation, in today's technological age, a tool for shaping the Christian spiritual life through positive virtue building, that is, those qualities that help a person to become good and increasingly able to know, appreciate, and do good. The right discernment, positive choice, and doing good is a sign of Christian optimism and a contribution to personal spiritual growth and the spread of the Kingdom of God in the world.
+ Archbishop Cyril Vasil SJ
For a Christian, faith in Jesus Christ and his redemptive role is a prerequisite for a virtuous life and access to other graces from God. Without this faith, the pursuit of virtue would slip to the level it was before the coming of Our Lord, to the level of proud pagan proof of one's own uniqueness.
Virtue is a medicine, but like any medicine, when taken at the wrong time, in the wrong place, and without thinking, it can eventually do more harm than good. Reason is the steering wheel and leader who judges, measures and evaluates how to proceed in building virtue.
Wisdom without good works is a denial of the teachings of Christ. No matter how much we learn about the philosophy of life, without practice, the soul cannot continue on its path to salvation - which is the opposite of wisdom! Practice is the third pillar of the application and also represents the logical completion of our work in building virtue.
In the Virtusica application, a 30-day plan full of challenges awaits you. Do deeds that will help your neighbors and at the same time build your inner Castle of Virtues. You will be able to enhance this fortress with another 7 artifacts. Visit the sick, give alms, honor the Mother of God, forgive, settle disputes and much more. Change your life and be a role model for those around you.
